The Cube goes Ping!

Yesterday uAvionix and Hex Technology announced a partnership that will see uAvionix Ping ADS-B receiver technology integrated into the Cube autopilot. The partnership represents a huge milestone for the UAV industry and is a big step towards widespread adoption of detect and avoid (DAA) technology. From July, everyone that purchases The Cube autopilot will (at no extra cost) have ADS-B in capabilities that allow their drone to automatically avoid ADS-B equipped aircraft. The Ping ADS-B technology also gives RPAS pilots better situational awareness of other aircraft operating around them.

At Bask Aerospace we take safety very seriously and as such we’re thrilled about this new partnership and addition to The Cube autopilot system. It further strengthens The Cube’s already enormous adoption within the industry and creates safer skies for all.
